ÅWÅ

It was the summer of 2025. Alima was lying in the sulfur springs on Vulcano Island, with the raw metal of Ma'Hud beside her. It was very hot, and the sky was clear, with millions of stars above her. She was listening to the sound of the volcano—an unforgettable moment. The full moon was shining brightly nearby.

She was gazing at the stars when she noticed a formation of three stars, arranged like a pyramid. She knew instantly: there would be three portals.

After the intense handcrafting of Ma'Hud, a whole new world opened up to her. She stopped her work as a hypnotherapist and began studying the art of playing the gong. Many sessions, many ceremonies, and many personal transmissions followed. Ma'Hud revealed an ancient field to her.

On a cold night in December 2025, during a personal transmission with Ma'Hud, the ancestors of Iceland appeared and invited her into an ancient field.

"We are waiting for you in Iceland," they said.

Alima felt a crystal-clear, warm rush in her heart and womb—the conception of twins. Two portals. The experience continued throughout the entire night: the Moon Gong and the Dragon Gong.

After a challenging period of preparation, and with the support of dear friends, Alima landed in Iceland in June 2026. For the first time, she traveled with a 4x4 vehicle and a rooftop tent. The adventure had begun.

Iceland was her land. Everything felt like home.

The first touch of ÅWÅ’s shiny, raw metal

We were heading towards a campsite close to Mount Herðubreið, a huge volcanic mountain. In Iceland, she is known as the Queen of the Mountains. She was breathtakingly beautiful and fully visible during these days.

After some sleep, food and preparation for the forging fire ceremony during the Summer Solstice, we drove to the amazing waterfall Dettifoss — one of the most powerful waterfalls in Europe.

I felt a huge excitement in my belly. The sun was shining so brightly, and I had the feeling that she was somehow pulling us towards her.

At the beautiful ancient glacier Lake Heinaberg , she met Pauline and another woman.

The cold ancient water was calling her. Surrounded by beautiful mountains, the silent ancestors were looking at her. She felt it in her joyful heart.

With lots of playfulness, Alima took me out of the bag and very gently brought me to the lake. She offered me to these ancient waters. I instantly received thousands of voices whispering into my metal, embracing me completely. A feeling that Alima and I shared in this moment.

We were lying near water and Pauline with her beautiful Meteorite Gong. A powerful transmission while resting on the stones by the lake. Alima got pulled into the inner Earth, grounding, relaxing, and receiving messages from the “Ice People.”

This secret stays with her and me, ÅWÅ. In our play later on, you can listen to it. The sounds travelled with her for a while.

We spent the night there, but I couldn't sleep much. So much energy was rushing through my veins.I went out for a walk. The sun was already so bright at 3:30 a.m. Near the lake, there was a crystal-clear river, with water coming from the glacier behind the mountain. I did a little cleansing ritual, listened to the water, and spent the whole morning by the river — watching, listening, and taking pictures of the ice, the water, and the merging of different elements.

So much happiness inside my heart.

Later, when everybody was awake, we drove around 450 kilometres to our next destination, into the Highlands.
